Today Michael Franti and Spearhead at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. Doors at 7
Also tonight Jam Samich and Back Forty, two of the Update's friends that are really tearing it up in the scene. And they are playing in my Backyard at the Magic Bag. This will definitely be a great Franti after show.

He, is however, a big supporter of the Ark and is a favorite at the Ann Arbor Folk Festival. Seeing him in such a small intimate venue is a true treat. I hope it is not sold out.

Brian Wilson The Michigan Theatre Yes, the creative mind and voice behind the Beach Boys. But do not go there expecting a nostalgia trip. Sure he'll play the hits. Remember, his mind took a little twist in the later years of the Boys and he isolated for nearly 20 years. His current music is outre but well worth hearing. Actually, his last album, so what of a rock opera, was critically acclaimed. GO SEE this show
