This Weekend the Antifreeze Blues Festival starts Friday at the Magic Band. Way too many bands to mention. Go to the Magic Bag's Website, at the end of the update, for the Details.

January 11th Necro Saint Andrews

January 13th The Jam Society w/ Ari Teitel. The Pike Room
Pontiac (part of the Crofoot). I am keeping my
eye on the 13 year old guitar progeny, Ari. The
resume if whom he has played with in his young
life is impressive.

January 15th The Carolina Chocolate Drops The Ark. This
band caught my attention because they are
playing a few gigs in the area. I went to their site
and found they are an authentic North Carolina
string band. They have website
www.carolinaschocolatedrops.com and a
cool myspace page with video.

night I'd see (I'll be on tour with moe though).
There are many classic acts returning. KUDOS
to the Update's very own (my Ferndale homey)
Jill Jack (luv ya honey) playing on Saturday.

January 25th Covert Operations at the Purple Moon-Flint

Three Dog Night (yep they are still alive)
Andiamo's Showcase in Warren. Plays there
the 26th as well.

January 27th LENNY KRAVITZ The Fillmore

February 1st North Mississippi Allstars St Andrews
