Happy Super Bowl Sunday

Here is some updates to the Update -February's on Fire.

TONIGHT and TOMORROW two webcasts of some interest will be on tap. TEA LEAF GREEN who plays the Ark Tuesday 12 Feb will simulcast their show tonight.

In addition, TOMORROW a historic event. Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Phil Lesh will be on the same stage for the first time since 2004. This show is supposed to start at 7:30 pm west coast time. www.iclips.net/deadheadsforobama.php

I left out that Tim Reynolds of Dave Matthews fame will be playing at the Crofoot on Sunday 24 February 2008. Our friends, Rootstand will be opening as well.

A feature that I am hoping to offer for the Blog only is the opportunity for friends to post and share music. Steve Z aka Zman, a regular taper at area shows, is planning to share his music with the Blog. Recent shows are Fared Haque from Ann Arbor, Greyboy Allstars from the Magic Bag and N Mississippi Allstars from St Andrews from Friday night. In addition, I am hoping my very busy friend Drew will begin sharing his photos from recent shows. SO JOIN the BLOG. It is in email form so you will still get the email.

Sorry Folks but Widespread Panic IS NOT Playing the Big D or Cleveland. There is a very good reason that will actually make fans of the Update very pleased. I am not at liberty to discuss it now, but trust me y'all will be very happy.
