Hey Now People

I have been off the map for a little while. In the in between, I have been throwing some energy into my music production company. My business Now More than Ever Productions has partnered with Why You Jam. We are very busy and will be putting on a showcase of bands Saturday November 20 at the Magic Stick in the Big D. I think you will recognize several of the bands that are playing this gig. WHY YOU JAM is all about making local music happen. We will be offering all kinds of goodies for this show. We have partnered with Midwest PEEPS (http://midwestpeeps.storenvy.com), Motor City Connect (http://motorcityconnect.groupsite.com/main/summary) and the Sweaty Mouse (www.sweatymouse.com). ; All will be offering sick merch and good information on how to live on this Orb we call home, in a little more harmony. In addition, we will be donating some proceeds of the should to Operation Kid Equip, which will provide necessary school supplies and amenities to the inner city children of Detroit. SO COME OUT AND START THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY WEEK WITH US!!!!

Since this is the Music Update, I would be remiss in not pointing out a two shows for this week.

Unfortunately they are the same night. LOTUS will be at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. Michael Franti and Spearhead will be at the Crofoot.
Both are Sunday. This is a real tough call and it may have to be a show time decision for many.
